Why do the high temperatures in South Florida during the summer may create the need to repair your refrigerator?

The summer heat causes the refrigerator to works more than usual, and because of that, the refrigerator generates more heat. The refrigerator should have enough space all around it, especially in the back (where the compressor is), to allow the heat to dissipate faster and more efficiently, thus, preventing trapped hot air that may cause an excessive wear, and the chance for refrigerator malfunction, which in return will lead to the need for refrigerator repair.
